LogoWatches is a sister company to the U.S. company SMi Awards, LLC (www.smiAwards.com), founded 1986 in Boston, USA by Thomas Haueter.
I (Thomas Haueter as the founder) am originally from Zürich. I primary worked there for banks (like Bankverein and CitiBank) as auditor, manager and in the product development.
On the one hand the USA bears a perfect startup for entrepreneurs: The USA is one of the biggest and fastest consumer societies of the world with simple business conditions and without any language barriers.
On the other hand the US market is really rough with a high competitive pressure and a great staying power by the Americans. To meet these demands it is necessary to act in a very flexible way.
After more than 20 years we had become a leading provider of custom awards in the USA. So we tinker with the idea of entering the European market. In cooperation with our business partner Dieter Bauer we made several market analyses and studies, which confirmed our decision to implement the sister company LogoUhren.EU and PromoWatches.EU on the European market.
Our customers in Europe will benefit from our long experiences, receiving professional and high quality products. Even the high quantities (in sum) we sell on the US market enabled us to offer low prices. Our business focus is on small quantities with fair prices for the European market.
